Life's Lessons

Life is full of lessons that surprise us at random turns. When I was in 4th grade I learned that too often, life for a lot of people isn't fair. I learned about racism in the 1940's, and poverty in Africa. It hit me hard. Before that, I didn't know a thing about poverty, racism, and things that just aren't fair. And the worst thing I learned about, was that these all happened for no good reason.

rugby try

Last week I scored a try (like a touchdown) in rugby. I was surprised when I got the ball but I just ran and scored. I still can't believe it.

Malay food music video

Last night, I watched a music video called I'm a Freak. It was about a someone who loved Malaysian food, and he was in a Malaysian Muslim restaurant



I thought it was funny because it sounds like a rap song(and it is) but they talk about Malaysian food. I agree with the person who sings, roti canai is delicious!

Archaeologist

I would like to be an archaeologist because I would learn more about ancient civilizations. Since I was very young I have been fascinated by ancient history. I would rather have a hands on experience then write about it. That is why I would rather be an archaeologist than a historian. I would love to discover a civilization that no one else found.
